Two more pounds gone. This is my one happiness.
My glucose levels were up all week and I’m not sure why. The fat grams were higher this week than last. Overall, my calories were much lower, I think. I need to find a way to cut the fat grams and still feel OK with fewer calories.
This week, all week, I was tired. This seems to happen when my glucose levels go up. There is a dinner out coming up this weekend, but I can guide it to midday eating and to things that have, in the past, been blood sugar friendly. One of the benefits of keeping the food diary is being able to go back and see what worked and where the trouble cropped up.
It was an effort to get in four good exercise sessions this week. It was sort of disappointing because I would really like to do six or at least five regularly. Normally, I would feel good after a session, but this week I was just tired — glad that I managed to exercise, but also glad to have it over. One motivating thing is that I can see how, even when I’m tired, exercise helps me in general. I don’t think the 2 pounds would have come off without the aerobics. Neighbors who want to visit are a new distraction during my walks. I have been trying to walk during a time of day when the fewest people are out and about. I guess that’s going to get more difficult as the weather gets nicer. See you next week.
